Description

Disney’s Extremely Goofy Skateboarding is a skateboarding game with mechanics similar to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series, but aimed at younger players. Two Disney characters, Goofy and Max, can compete in 4 worlds with 3 levels each. The locations include canyons, a beach, a fair, a town, a skate stage and more, but not all of them are available right away.

In the first game type, the character needs to collect a number of items. There are 3 goals per level and when two have been completed, a key appears, granting access to a next part. Goofy and Max provide tips in the beginning. The second game type, Tech, has a time restriction. The player needs to score a set amount of points to proceed. The best routes are marked with an orange arrow and tricks can be combined into combos. The third mode, Super Skate, allows free play on the unlocked tracks and the fourth mode is used to practise tricks. After selecting a specific trick, the button combinations appear on the screen and after a demo players need to repeat it. The final game mode, Fun, is a large half pipe in an arena. It is only available when all locations have been unlocked.

Controls consist of movement and four buttons for tricks. The character can jump, grind and do a variety of moves such as ollies, tail grabs, spins, and more advanced moves such as melon air, method air, hand plants, 540, Japan air… Prior to each game, players can define the outfits. Multiplayer is supported for up to two players. The controls are easy and the physics are not realistic. Players do no not need to correct their balance while grinding and can go on forever at the same speed. For those who were poor, the situation didn’t improved one bit, and for the richer, maintaining the status was done at the expense of their privacy and personal freedoms. To make things worse, life outside the major cities, far from the atmosphere processors is nearly impossible, as the so-called “Wilderness Preserves” are poisoned, and those who venture into them risk a painful death.

Konoko, fresh out from TCTF (Technology Crimes Task Force, a secret police to take cyber drugs and weapons from the streets, as well as explore the induced technophobia to operate and investigate on a blank check permission) academy is placed under the command of Terrance Griffin and Dr. Kerr and linked to a SLD – an android – called Shinatama, who is neurally linked to her. Spider-Man is the first 3D game to star the popular web-slinger. It is loosely based on Spider-Man: The Animated Series and Spider-Man Unlimited and features some of the voice cast from each and similar character designs.

Peter Parker is attending a demonstration of the reformed Dr. Otto Octavius’s new invention when an imposter Spider-Man steals the device. Spider-Man must work to clear his name and uncover the sinister motives behind the device’s theft.

This game features appearances not only by most major Spider-Man characters, but cameos by numerous other characters from the Marvel Universe, such as the Human Torch, Punisher, Daredevil and Captain America.

Spider-Man’s webs are greatly emphasized. He can use them both for navigational purposes, like swinging or ziplining, and for offensive and defensive combat, such as tying up a villain, coating his fists with web for extra oomph, or building a protective shield. His web supply is limited though and he must find new cartridges or risk running out. The wall-crawling powers are also prominently features. Spider-Man can cling to any wall or ceiling. This is used for basic environmental navigation and for stealth as there are many sequences where you crawl over the heads of unsuspecting thugs, or drop down and catch them off-guard. …

Alone in the Dark 4 – The New Nightmare

Description

Set on October 31, 2001. Edward Carnby’s best friend and partner, Charles Fiske, has been found dead off the coast of Shadow Island, a mysterious island near the coast of Massachusetts. Carnby’s investigation quickly leads him to Frederick Johnson, who informs him of Fiske’s search for three ancient tablets with the ability to unlock an incredible and dangerous power. Johnson pleads with Carnby to take the place of Fiske and reopen the investigation in order to recover the tablets. Carnby accepts and makes it his mission to find Fiske’s killer. Johnson introduces Edward to Aline Cedrac, an intelligent, young university professor. She joins Edward to recover the missing tablets and assist Professor Obed Morton, whom she believes to be her father. While flying over the coast of Shadow Island, Edward and Aline’s plane comes under attack by an unknown creature. Edward and Aline both jump out of the plane and parachute to the ground, but are separated immediately. Edward lands in the dense forest just outside a manor, while Aline lands on the roof of it. The game’s plot is a separate canon from the main of the series.

The player is given the option of choosing which of the two protagonists they play as. Carnby’s side of the plot is based mainly on fighting the monsters by physical means, particularly with his trusty double barreled revolver; while Aline’s is more centered on puzzles. Sheep, Dog’n’Wolf

Description

After another failed attempt at stealing a sheep from Sam Sheepdog, Ralph Wolf returns home after his shift to relax and enjoy some television in his chair. Daffy Duck bursts in and declares that Ralph is the newest contestant on the game show “Sheep, Dog, and Wolf” or as Daffy likes to call it, “Who Wants to Be a Sheep Stealer”. In this show, Ralph is tasked with successfully stealing sheep from Sam in a variety of environments, though he is not allowed to harm the sheep in any way.

Despite many obstacles and encounters with various characters such as Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Gossamer, Toro and Road Runner, Ralph is finally able to steal Sam’s entire flock, but as he is declared the winner, Marvin the Martian gatecrashes the show, angry at Ralph and Daffy because a specific sheep that Ralph was forced to fire into the sky using Yosemite Sam’s cannon in order to win actually landed on Planet X while Marvin was experimenting with his instant Martians, causing a serious accident which led to the Martians scattering across the planet. Marvin forcibly takes Ralph to Planet X with the task of recovering the Martians. Ralph eventually completes his task and is returned home by Marvin along with the stranded sheep. However, once inside, the sheep is revealed to be Sam in disguise, who grabs Ralph and prepares to beat him vengefully when Ralph’s alarm clock sounds and he wakes up from his sleep, revealing that the game’s events were only a dream.

Visibly disappointed, Ralph goes outside to start another shift of sheep stealing from Sam. …
