American Conquest: Fight Back is the successor to American Conquest. The game features eight campaigns set between 1517 and 1804: during the 25 missions the player tackles missions like finding El Dorado with Germany or conquering Alaska with the Russians at the expense of the Haida. There are overall five new nations and 50 new units to play with, in addition to the mentioned Portugal and the Netherlands.

The gameplay is exactly the same as in American Conquest, meaning that the player constructs a base, gathers resources and builds up his army. The fighting morale is very important and can be influenced by either victory, defeat, food supplies or the equipment your units are carrying. Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas is a 3D action game based on the animated movie of the same name. The swashbuckler Sinbad was accused of stealing the Book of Peace, which had been protecting the city of Syracuse from peril. However, it soon becomes clear that Eris, the goddess of Chaos, is the real thief, and Sinbad must find her and bring the book back.

The gameplay mostly focuses on melee combat. Sinbad can execute three basic moves: slash, thrust, and block. Combining these moves opens additional ones, which inflict greater damage. Sinbad can also power-up and perform devastating all-screen attack that damage several enemies simultaneously. …

Jak II

Description

Jak II is a 3D action platform game and sequel to Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. After completing their quest from the original title, Jak and Daxter are shot into another time and space and the future of their planet, and everything is different. The two are split up, with Jak thrown into jail by Baron Praxis, the ruler of Haven City. For two years Jak is experimented on with dark Eco, turning him into an almost Hulk-like character, mean and filled with rage.

Rescued by Daxter, the two must set off and find a way to shut down the operation and get revenge for Jak’s uncontrollable change. Along the way they will meet new friends and deadly enemies (known as Metal Heads), but at least now Jak has something special on his side: weapons, and lots of them. Including a shotgun, sniper rifle, machine gun and a powerful blast weapon. Gameplay includes platforming, vehicle racing, rescue missions, hover boarding, playing mini games and shooting at various enemies (including boss fights). …

Frogger’s Adventures – The Rescue

Description

A young frog named Frogger is relaxing inside his home in Firefly Swamp when a spaceship crashes in his yard, injuring his friend and guardian Lumpy. The driver of the ship turns out to be Beauty Frog of F.I.R.S.T. (Frog International Rescue Support Team). Frogger becomes a member of F.I.R.S.T. and goes on missions to exotic locations to rescue many of Beauty Frog’s friends, including Doctor Frog, who is needed to heal Lumpy. Finally he rescues his girlfriend Lily, who has been kidnapped by T.R.I.P (Tyrannical Reptiles in Power).

The game contains hop-and-dodge style gameplay similar to that of the original arcade game. Frogger, however, can perform many moves that he could not in the original. Frogger can perform a “super hop” which allows him to jump over the space in front of him, as well as being able to move footholds and sections of certain walls with his tongue. (This is the first Frogger game to include tongue moves.) Frogger can also rotate left and right. …

Frogger just got back from his adventure at the Temple of the Frog and is enjoying life in the swamp. Before long, it’s his birthday, and he is summoned to the Elder Council. As a freelance mercenary, Bolt Logan has been to some tough planets and had some tough jobs. In fact, one year ago his partner betrayed him and alerted the soldiers to take care of him. But Logan survived with the aid of another person, and worked hard to rebuild his credit supply. Now, a year after that incident, the freelancer has a new ship, new implants, a new partner and is looking for some new jobs. It’s a good time too – since the corporations and individuals of the galaxy are all in a virtual gold rush looking for the rare terraforming compound, Chrome.

Chrome is a story-driven first-person shooter spread over various types of terrain and scenery. Missions are self-contained, and the plot follows the player’s progress between and during them. Most of the stages are fairly large and can be completed using different approaches. There are various weapons and vehicles to try out, including armored cars, air transporters and humanoid robots. Bolt Logan is equipped with armor, a motion detector and a selection of implants that will allow him to specialize towards the mission profile. The implants affect the body and are used to enhance the vision, increase the speed of running, steady the aim or reduce injuries, among others. …

A budget First Person Shooter where you take the role of the title character, an archaeologist named Will Rock. Your mentor has been murdered by a cult calling themselves the Olympian Restoration Army.

This of course leads to you running around Grecian ruins shooting at hundreds of bad guys and mythological monsters. Like the aforementioned Sam, Will Rock relies more on spawning dozens of bad guys at a time and furious combat than story. …
