Description

It is the 27th century, and humanity has fled the surface of the Earth, plagued by radioactivity, into the depths of the ocean. William Drake is the last offspring of an old aristocratic family. After the death of his grandmother, the young man sails off on a freighter belonging to Drake Enterprises. Soon, a group of mercenaries attack his vessel and take control of it. The attackers spare William’s life, but he has no other choice but to link his fate to theirs from that moment on.

Like its predecessor, AquaNox 2: Revelation is a hybrid of submarine simulation and first-person shooter. Four different gunships can be controlled and upgraded by the player throughout the course of the game. The vessels have different characteristics and often have to be chosen for particular missions, e.g. one that requires stealth or heavy plating to withstand attacks. Torpedoes and energy-based weapons can be used to combat the foes. Like Madden NFL 2004, NHL 2004 has a deep career mode, titled Dynasty Mode. You take on the role of GM for up to twenty seasons. As GM, you’ll have to negotiate contracts, conduct drafts, make trades, sign free agents, make sure your players are getting the training they need, and more. If you’re good enough, you may make it into the GM Hall of Fame.

Besides Dynasty mode, you’ve got the basic game modes; Season, Exhibition, and Playoffs.

Description

The third installment of the Pro Evolution Soccer series, with improved graphics and a bigger Master League. Because the Master League is so big, it’s split into 4 zones with 2 divisions, and cup competitions in each zone. Other than most of the Italian teams, club names are fictional, as are many of the players. However, the game has an improved edit mode, so you can edit the team’s name, flag, logo, shirts, and stadium.

You can use the ‘shop’ system to unlock hidden features such as classic teams. The game also has a training mode, and a challenge mode, in which you have to dribble around cones as quick as you can. Replays can be fast-forwarded and rewound, and the view can be rotated. The advantage rule is now implemented, so a foul will only stop play if the fouled team suffers from it. …

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4

Description

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 is the fourth game in Activision’s skateboarding franchise.

The main feature of this game is it’s redesigned career mode. When beginning a level, you have all the time in the world to skate around, perform tricks, get a feel for the level, without the hassel of any goals or time limits. When you’re ready to attempt a goal, simply find a pro skater, talk to him, then receive the goal, similar to Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX. Goals are similar to the previous games, such as collect SKATE, get a certain amount of points, transfer over this and grind that. There are new goals, however, such as collecting the word COMBO while doing one big combo. Miss a trick, and goal fails. Once all regular goals are accomplished, you can attempt the Pro Goal, which is specific to each skater, and is extremely hard.
