Chicken Invaders: Revenge of the Yolk is the third part in the Space Invaders clone series of games which features chicken themed humor and parody of popular sci-fi movies and games. You pilot a one manned space ship and shoot with six different types of weapons and have free range of movement (I suppose that could be a chicken-related joke too). These weapons have twelve different levels of strength which you’ll need in order to win medals and advance through the twelve star systems of the game. Feeding Frenzy is back with 60 more levels, new powerups, new fish and a new above water area. Start out as a small fish in the big ocean as you try to find out why there are so many shipwrecks lately. Eat the smaller fish and avoid the larger fish as you work your way up through the food chain.
As you eat fish, you will grow and be able to eat even larger fish. You can also get powerups that allow you to move really fast, stun other fish, make larger fish shrink so you can eat them and much more. As you progress, you will change fish from that small fish up to a great white shark. Remember, though, that even as a shark, you can still be eaten by other sharks or killer whales, so be careful.
New to the series, is an out-of-water experience. In some levels, you will have the opportunity to jump out of the water to eat mayflies and powerups. Jump high and do flips to score style points as well. But, watch out for the pelicans, who will be happy to eat you as you jump out of the water. …
In Sam Fisher’s first next generation adventure, the splinter cell has a tragedy befall him. Shortly thereafter, Sam’s life collapses around him. He becomes more distant from Third Echelon. In fact, he even goes so far as to get himself arrested.
But it’s all part of the plan. Sam Fisher is now a double agent, working for both the NSA and a terrorist organization known as the JBA, or John Brown’s Army. Sam is for the most part a good guy still. But will that remain? Will Sam do good for the NSA and bring the organization to justice, or will the lure of the terrorist group overpower and overcome Sam?
The choices you make affect that outcome. Moral questions will pop up in various places throughout the game. Do you shoot a prisoner to earn trust with the JBA, or do you hold off, keeping the NSA on your side? Whatever outcome you decide on, your trust with one will go down and the other will go up. Some heroes must be unlocked first. The game also features RPG elements, such as leveling up. When a hero gains a level, they earn points you can use to upgrade their skills. You also collect Shield Coins, which can be spent on boosts for your hero team.
You explore various legendary Marvel locales, from Asgard, to Prince Namor’s Atlantis, where you take on foes with punches, kicks and super powers. Super powers drain energy, however, so use them wisely. Combos can be achieved by combining super powers. Energy is restored by collecting blue orbs from fallen foes. …
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Lockdown is a squad-based tactical military FPS (First Person Shooter). The game takes place in multiple locales from Paris to South Africa as the Rainbow team tracks an international group of terrorists. The controls match that of a standard PC Shooter with the addition of context-based squad commands and actions. The PC version tries to maintain the action-oriented feel of the console version while improving on all aspects that predominate the PC FPS genre.
The PC version offers several improvements over the console versions. In addition to added classic maps like Mint and 747 there are additional kit items, added multiplayer modes, updated graphics on all maps, added HDR effects, re-ordered campaign list, updated weapons and AI improvements. …
Like its predecessor Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Lockdown, Vegas is a more action-driven tactical shooter. You play as Logan Keller who is the leader of a Rainbow Six squad. Controlling two team-members, you have to take on terrorists who attempt to get the city of Las Vegas under their control.
The missions are all connected with one another through the storyline. You always have different goals like rescuing a hostage or disarming a bomb. To do so, you have access to different kinds of weapons from pistols to Assault Rifles and Gadgets like C4 or Tear Gas. You order your men around by aiming at something and then choosing from a list of options called “Rules of Engagement”, available in a circle menu much like in Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. They will then do their best to fulfill your order without risking their own lives by taking cover as often as possible. …
