Chicken Invaders 4 – Ultimate Omelette

Description

I remember the day of the invasion well. The memories still burn deeply, like spicy chicken wings.

They came without warning, squawking menacingly, their ruffled feathers darkening the sun. Invading intergalactic chickens, out to punish humanity for our oppression of their earthly brethren.

I instantly knew what had to be done. I dropped my half-eaten chicken burger and jumped in my cockpit. With a greasy finger I set my lasers to “extra crispy” and blasted off to intercept the fowl invaders.

It wasn’t easy. Squawks, feathers flying, the smell of charred chicken everywhere. Three times they invaded, each time with increasingly devious plans. Three times I managed to push them back whence they came, and secure humanity a few more years as the dominant species of this planet. …

Chicken Invaders 5 – Cluck of the Dark Side

In this episode, the chickens have hatched a devious plan to block out sunlight and freeze Earth to death. It’s up to you to travel around the galaxy in order to piece together an ancient artifact and (quite literally) save the day.

Hero’s log, Stardate 8008.5

As the last intergalactic chicken invaders flee our Solar System
and lingering feathers still smolder in interplanetary space,
I ease up on the trigger and wipe the sweat from my brow.
My work here is done. …

Chicken Invaders

Description

After centuries of human oppression the chickens have had enough. With the aid of kin from another galaxy, they have begun attacking Earth’s defenses with millions of dropped eggs and asteroids. You, as the pilot who just wants to get a hamburger, are Earth’s final hope for survival.

Chicken Invaders is the first part of a series of Space Invaders parodies where you control a space-ship while facing waves of asteroids and space chickens. Your movements are limited to a horizontal plane but are armed with a blaster which you can use to shoot the enemies. You can upgrade your weapons to spread or to missiles by simply getting enough points or by collecting the gift boxes the occasional chicken will drop.

Your enemies are the waves of chickens who move in patterns down the screen and shoot eggs at you. Coming into contact with them will also be detrimental to your survival. Accompanying the chickens are asteroids which in one wave go slowly diagonally across the screen and asteroids which plummet quickly down. All can be blasted given that they’re shot enough. …

Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare

Description

A fresh approach in the long-running Call of Duty franchise with the original developers back behind the wheel, chapter 4 has the player assume the role of a British S.A.S. squad member in various missions over Europe, as well as a U.S. Marine in the Middle East, fighting against fictive global terrorism driving persona.

Without breaking the traditions of its heritage, Call of Duty 4 is a true military-based FPS, only this time it has the player fight in a fictive setting and in a modern-day world, against modern enemies and ditto weapons. There are various campaign-based missions that enable the player to take the role of two different soldiers, from two different kinds of military enforcement disciplines. As usual, multiplayer is also available with different game modes.

The missions in the single-player campaign give various tasks to accomplish and take the player through many twists as the plot unfolds. A large arsenal of weapons is available, offering diverse options to suit different playing styles. For the first time, the game does not run on an id Tech engine, but a proprietary 3D engine based on the id Tech standards, with physics, dynamic lighting, bloom, and depth-of-field. …

Eric can attack the ghosts with his pick axe, and then finish them off by using his third eye to spot their weak point, and attack it. As Eric explores, he will discover more upgrades for his axe that will allow him to break more seals and progress further. …
