Chex Quest Collection

Description

Chex Quest is a 3D FPS running on a modified DOOM engine.

The planet Bazoik has been overrun by Flemoids- mucous-like alien creatures who are consuming all of the IFC’s (Intergalactic Federation of Cereals) nutritious foods. You, a large square-shaped man must go in and rid the various levels of the miscellaneous green Flemoids.

Your weaponry starts out with a bootspoon (which can be upgraded to a Super Bootspork) and a small Zorcher (which uses Zorch energy). The Zorcher can, of course, be upgraded to frightening levels… Zorch is apparently an interdimensional substance, because enough of it can “send a Flemoid back to his homeworld.”

You can strap on armor, of course- the armor is a Chex kibble (or a Super Chex kibble). This will protect you from the mucous that the Flemoids snort at you.

The opening contains a notice to concerned parents, avowing that the game is non-violent; to keep childrens’ interest, the violence was replaced with (and they tried to be delicate here) gross booger sounds. Your character never “dies”, but becomes immobilized by being covered from head to toe in mucous. …

de Blob

Description

The evil I.N.K.T. Corporation has invaded Chroma City, using their machines to suck the color out of the environment and transforming the happy Raydiants into subversive Graydiants. Only de Blob can right things, by restoring things to their former glory and coloring the Graydients to restore them to their happy selves, foiling I.N.K.T.’s evil scheme in the process!

De Blob is an action game based on a Windows game called The Blob, created by students to promote their city. Your job is to roll into color-filled machines, which fill you with that color, and then touch buildings, walls, billboards, trees and Graydiants to restore their color. You can mix colors by rolling into two different primary colors (for example, blue and yellow gives you green). Some buildings are secured and cannot be colored simply by touching them – instead, de Blob jumps inside them and the player must shake the Wii Remote to fill them with color. …

Description

SpongeBob and Patrick have a robot tea party with toy robots and SpongeBob wishes upon “the first falling clam” that robots “were people too”. The next day, Bikini Bottom gets attacked by an army of robots. Patrick, Sandy, Gary, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs are captured by robots and locked inside cages. SpongeBob works his way through Bikini Bottom, the Flying Dutchman’s Graveyard, the Kelp Forest, the Chum Bucket, and the Mermalair to locate his friends and various objects stolen by the robots. After all locations’ games are played, a video is unlocked for the end of the game where SpongeBob and Patrick discover that Plankton was the one behind the robot invasion. Plankton admits that it was his fault and that the robots are not listening to him and the only way to control the robots is to set the switch to “obey” mode. Instead, Patrick fools around with the machine, accidentally pulling its obey switch off, which turns off the machine and deprograms the robots. After SpongeBob and Patrick leave, Plankton tries to tell them that he will be back with another plan.

One of Plankton’s nefarious plans, as per usual, has gone awry. The robots he created with his Duplicatotron 3000 failed to obey him and are now running amok on Bikini Bottom. The robots have captured Patrick, Sandy, Gary, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs and now it’s up to SpongeBob to rescue them. …

SpongeBob SquarePants – Diner Dash

Description

SpongeBob SquarePants Diner Dash is a time management and waiter game featuring the famous cartoon character. It has gameplay mechanics very similar to Diner Dash, not surprising since it was co-developed by the same company. The player controls SpongeBob, setting tasks for him to perform his job duties at the Krusty Krab diner. Fish patrons and groups of customers arrive and wait to be seated at the left side of the screen. A hearts meter above their heads shows their satisfaction level, that slowly decreases while they wait making them eventually leave in anger when it runs out. They can be dragged and dropped with the mouse to one of the empty tables. The tables have multi-colored seats, that give extra points when matching the client’s color.

After seating at the tables, the customers start to peruse the menu, eventually raising their fins to make an order. The main objective is to serve them and collect their payment as fast as possible, to meet the minimum cash goal of each level before closing time. SpongeBob can carry two things at the same time, and the player can click on several places at once, setting a series of way points to take orders, deliver dishes, clean tables and accomplish other common catering tasks. …
