SpongeBob SquarePants – Nighty Nightmare

Description

This game has you entering the dreams of characters from SpongeBob Squarepants, including SpongeBob, Patrick, and Plankton. You play this game from each of these characters, living out their dreams as you explore their dreamed version of Bikini Bottom. You start by choosing to start as SpongeBob, Patrick, or Plankton. Then you choose which dream to play (1 available and 1 locked by default.)

As SpongeBob, you race a hot rod in an attempt to win the Bikini Bottom Speedway Open. Controls are simple point and click with the mouse: left click to accelerate and/or use bubbles to attack, and right click to display large circles that essentially show limit zones of collision. If your circle crosses into another, you’ll crash.

As Patrick, you don the guise of Starfishman in an attempt to stop Dread Patrick’s schemes. Again, controls are mouse based, with left clicking serving as an attack/move function, and right clicking controlling faster movement (pseudo-flight). …

SpongeBob SquarePants – The Movie

Description

The plot of the video game is based on the film, albeit liberties are taken occasionally. King Neptune’s crown has been stolen by Plankton and SpongeBob and Patrick must retrieve it from Shell City and save Bikini Bottom.

[*] Console versions
The gameplay is similar to that from Heavy Iron Studios’ previous game, Battle for Bikini Bottom, as it was created using the same engine and shares many assets. There are 18 levels in the game that loosely follow the storyline of the film. The player controls SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, both of whom have their own unique set of abilities. Each level contains a main objective and side tasks. Four levels involve a boss enemy that the player must defeat to progress to the next level. Boss enemies include the giant frogfish from the film, Dennis (who is fought twice), and King Neptune. Each main level and side task will give the player a Goofy Goober Token once completed, and the player needs these tokens to learn certain skills and proceed to the game. Although the player only needs to complete a level’s main component in order to unlock the next level, it is not possible to complete the game only doing the main levels (though the player does not need to do all of the side tasks). …

Ed, Edd n Eddy – The Mis Edventures

Description

Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures is a 3D platforming game in which protagonists Ed, Edd, and Eddy are playable characters. Players can use them in special tag team formations like the “(Leaning-)Tower-of-Eddy” (as Eddy), “Trampol-Edd” (as Edd), and “Batter-Ed(-Ram)” (as Ed) to complete eight levels, referred to as scams. The Eds’ normal weapons and skills include Ed lifting heavy objects and smashing his head, Edd using a slingshot to hit distant targets and smacking with his ruler in close range, and Eddy using the El Mongo stink bomb to stun enemies, along with using his wallet attached to a chain like a yo-yo.

The game is divided into six separate game segments. Each level has its own independent plot and story throughout the game. The two bonus stages are only available in the console and windows version of the game.

In the first level of the game, “Cool yer Ed”, the Eds are planning to steal ice cubes from the coolers in the neighborhood kids’ backyards to create snow-cones so they can sell them during the warm weather. Though simple obstacles are in their way, they make it, thanks to Ed with his unquestioned strength and speed. They find a meatball-making machine in Rolf’s shed, but Rolf refuses to let them use it. After Ed smashes Rolf’s pig pen fence, the pigs escape, and the Eds agree to get them back in the pen only if Rolf lets them borrow the machine. Rolf agrees, and they get the pigs in the pig pen. The Eds finally make their snow cones by covering the meatballs in ice, which Ed begins to eat. …

Bugs Bunny – Lost in Time

Description

The game stars cartoon character Bugs Bunny who finds and activates a time machine (mistaking it for a carrot juice dispenser) after taking a wrong turn at Albuquerque, intending to go to Pismo Beach. He ends up in Nowhere, home of a sorcerer named Merlin Munroe. Merlin then informs Bugs that he is lost in time and that he must travel through five different eras of time in order to collect clock symbols and golden carrots that will allow him to return to the present.

The objective of this game is to collect time clocks to progress through different eras via the time machine. In Nowhere, which acts as a tutorial level, Bugs Bunny will learn the basic moves he needs to use to progress through the game. He can kick, jump, pick up objects, roll, jump into rabbit holes to move underground, tiptoe to avoid alerting other enemies, climb ropes, and use his rabbit ears like propellers to slowly descend to the ground from high places. Bugs can also move some objects to get to certain places. Enemies in the game are mostly simple to beat. Some can be defeated with a kick or a jump, while others may require Bugs to be chased by an enemy until they run out of breath, then they can be kicked in the back. There are also special abilities for Bugs to learn from Merlin much later as he progresses through the game. …
