Bone: Out From Boneville is the first graphic adventure title released by Telltale Games, a company founded by former LucasArts employees. Out From Boneville is based on the identically named comic book created by Jeff Smith, and it’s the first installment in the episodic Bone game series.

The game follows exactly the plot of the book, namely it begins with the introduction of cousins Fone, Phone, and Smiley Bone, who are lost in the desert after they fled their hometown Boneville. Their goal is to get back to Boneville, but due to several twists of fate their journey takes them to other places.

Description

The Great Cow Race is the second installment in Telltale’s Bone adventure series. The three cousins Phoney, Fone and Smiley Bone have been chased out of Boneville, and end up at a farm under attack by rats. Thorn, Grand’ma Ben and Fone prepare to attend the spring festival at Barrelhaven, where a cow race is about to take place. The three main characters have different quests to solve, with interfering actions, similar to Day of the Tentacle. Smiley needs to find a cow costume to enter the race, Phoney has to influence the betting, and Fone tries to win back the heart of his lost love.

DuckTales – The Quest for Gold

This game follows the adventures of Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie.

The aim of the game is shown in the introduction. Flintheart Glomgold challenges Scrooge to a competition to see who the richest duck in the world is. They each have 30 days to see who can get the most money together and finally their dispute will be settled.

Scrooge’s office is your headquarters. Here you have three options – you can go exploring for treasure, play the stock market or dive into your money bin, occasionally finding a rare coin which adds to you treasure total. You need to get some money first before you can play the stock market though.

Your main source of income comes from the exploration map which hangs on the wall. From here, you can pick a destination, which you can travel to. There are four different scenarios when travelling to various parts of the world. It’s these levels that are the most fun. You can choose to go mountain climbing, jungle bashing, search a cavern, or photograph some rare animals depending on your location. On-screen information tells you which scenario it is, how long the trip will take and how much the treasure is worth. Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is a 3D platform game where you play as a crocodile.

Small hairy creatures called Gobbos live peacefully on an island until one day they see a basket drifting in the water. After pulling it ashore they find a baby crocodile inside it. The Gobbos raise him as their own until he is three times their size. The game starts with the island being attacked by the evil Baron Dante and his minions. They capture most of the Gobbos, but the crocodile manages to escape. Now you need to rescue the Gobbos and fight Baron Dante and his minions.

As you make progress you visit several islands with different themes like a forest, snow, desert or castles. Along the way you have to collect crystals (which serve as health), rescue Gobbos and defeat enemies and bosses. You can attack enemies with your tail, destroy crates with a jump down attack and, in some stages, it is possible to swim. While on vacation, Tails and Sonic come across a recruiting advertisement for the World Grand Prix race. Sonic is not interested at first, but once he notices that Dr. Robotnik will participate he decides to enter. Robotnik is only interested in the race because he’s learned the location of the Chaos Emeralds and now he’ll get a chance to beat Sonic while he gets them. Knuckles finds out that Sonic will participate, so he joins him. Amy overhears Robotnik’s plan, so she will also be racing to get the Chaos Emeralds.

There are many modes of gameplay in Sonic R:

Grand Prix: You race against the rest of the characters on each of the circuits, and get a chance to race the level’s boss to unlock some of the extra playable characters.

Nightmare Ned

Description

Nightmare Ned is a puzzle-solving game presented as a platformer. Players control Ned who comes home from school and finds out through a note that his parents will be late. He uses the freedom to play games, but a thunderstorm frightens him and he goes to sleep. Strange things happen as a mysterious force drags Ned into a nightmare world. There, he can access five portals that lead to different worlds: The Graveyard, The Alcatraz Elementary School, The Medical Nightmare, The Attic, Basement and Beyond, and The Bathroom. These are all based on locations Ned knows in real life and they are connected to his fears. He meets regular characters but also different kinds of monsters. In the Elementary School level for instance Ned interacts with chalk drawings on a blackboard as they come to life. There are also often animated sequences.

To complete a portal Ned has to perform various tasks. His progress is shown through the shadow creatures as there is one in each world. Whenever Ned completes a part, the creature changes and eventually it becomes someone Ned knows from the real world and is connected to his fears. Not all puzzles need to be solved right away, but when a portal is left eight times without using a secret passage directly to another world, the game has a different ending. For a good ending Ned has to face all his fears and wake up unafraid.

The tasks, quests and puzzles can be completed through his platforming skills, including running, jumping and hanging from ledges, and interacting with the environment. Ned can use a yo-yo to attack, or use it to push buttons or interact with creatures and objects. …

M&Ms – The Lost Formulas

In M&Ms: The Lost Formulas, the 2 lead candies are about to set off on a vacation until the red candy realizes that the yellow candy left the M&Ms Minis in charge of the candy factory. The Minis promptly steal the secret M&Ms formulas and cause havoc at the factory. It is up to the yellow candy to set the situation right.

The gameplay has been described as being similar to the Crash Bandicoot series. The action in the game takes place over 8 levels. The first 7 levels involve some kind of math skill (configurable at various skill levels to cover addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). The first level depicts the yellow candy frantically driving back to the candy factory. Along the way are math formulas on the side of the road, followed closely by 3 crates on the road, each with a number. Striking the crate with the correct answer for the previous formula will allow passage, while the 2 wrong answers are steel crates that will end your vehicle.
