Feeding Frenzy 2 – Shipwreck Showdown Deluxe

Description

Feeding Frenzy is back with 60 more levels, new powerups, new fish and a new above water area. Start out as a small fish in the big ocean as you try to find out why there are so many shipwrecks lately. Eat the smaller fish and avoid the larger fish as you work your way up through the food chain.

As you eat fish, you will grow and be able to eat even larger fish. You can also get powerups that allow you to move really fast, stun other fish, make larger fish shrink so you can eat them and much more. As you progress, you will change fish from that small fish up to a great white shark. Remember, though, that even as a shark, you can still be eaten by other sharks or killer whales, so be careful.

New to the series, is an out-of-water experience. In some levels, you will have the opportunity to jump out of the water to eat mayflies and powerups. Jump high and do flips to score style points as well. But, watch out for the pelicans, who will be happy to eat you as you jump out of the water. …

Sonic 3D Blast (1997)

Description

While visiting Flicky Island, Sonic notices that the Flickies, his small, feathered friends that can travel between parallel worlds, were captured and turned into badniks (the robot enemies of Sonic) by Dr. Robotnik in his never-ending quest for the Chaos Emeralds. Seven levels separate Sonic from the final showdown with Robotnik.

Sonic 3D was the last Sonic title released for the Mega Drive, the only platforming presence of the blue blur in the Sega Saturn, and one of his rare appearances in Personal Computers. The title, considering the era it was released, is somewhat misleading, as instead of full blown 3D graphics it uses an isometric view where Sonic can move not only forwards and backwards, but also left and right. …

The original Sonic Adventure, released in Japan on December 23, 1998 and localized for North America, Europe, and Australia between September–December of 1999, was notable for not only bringing the Sonic the Hedgehog series in 3D, it brought a larger emphasis on story elements, featuring full voice-acting with cutscenes animated in-engine and through FMV sequences. The game also featured six playable characters, each with their own unique gameplay styles and perspectives of the game’s story. …

Sonic CD (1996)

Description

Sonic the Hedgehog and his self-proclaimed girlfriend Amy Rose travel to Never Lake, only to discover the legendary Little Planet there, tied in chains and covered by metal. It appears that Sonic’s archenemy, Dr. Eggman, is using the powers of the planet to manipulate the fabric of time. He created Sonic’s evil counterpart, Metal Sonic, who kidnaps Amy and disappears. Now the brave hedgehog must explore the Little Planet, collect seven jewels capable of altering the passage of time, free Amy, and defeat Metal Sonic along with his master.

Sonic CD is a fast-paced side-scrolling platform action game, similar in gameplay to other installments of the series. Sonic uses his patented spin attacks to destroy the doctor’s minions and collects various items, such as protective rings, shields, and speed shoes. His special attacks include the Spin Dash and the Super Peel Out. A stand-out gameplay feature of this installment is Sonic’s ability to travel to past and future versions of the stages he traverses. Depending on the player’s action in the past version of a level, the future versions (which contain obligatory boss enemies) will change from “bad” to “good”, having more or fewer enemies and obstacles, respectively. …
