Description

Like its predecessors, OutRun 2006 is an old-school arcade racer, which means that your cars don’t have realistic physics, don’t get damaged and have insanely fast speed.

Since this title is officially licensed by Ferrari, you drive with 15 original models from the DINO 246 GTS over the F430 to the all-new Enzo Ferrari. The heart of the game is the Coast 2 Coast mode in which you race against up to 5 AI players on 15 US themed tracks. In addition you have to impress different girlfriends. She tells you what she wants to see (a hard slide around a curve or a close take-over for example) and you have to perform it to win her heart.

There are 3 other game modes available in singleplayer: OutRun, Time Attack and OutRun2SP. In OutRun2SP you get access to 15 arcade tracks from the original OutRun 2. In OutRun however you need to drive your girlfriend through various checkpoints to the goal before the timer hits zero. In Time Attack you just have to beat the highscore of the current track. Description

007: James Bond – The Stealth Affair is a graphic adventure game with a point-and-click interface. The player controls the famous secret agent James Bond (John Glames in the European version), whose task is to travel to South America in order to locate and retrieve a newly designed F-19 stealth plane, which was stolen from the Naval Air Station in Miramar, California.

The game is controlled by the same pop-up command menu consisting of six verbs that was introduced in Delphine’s debut Future Wars: Adventures in Time. However, it’s been slightly improved and does now allow interaction with the inventory, like examining and combining items. The player can use many typical special agent’s gadgets, beginning with a passport forgery kit and ending with explosive cigarettes. Apart from solving puzzles, the player has to make it through some arcade sequences: escape the labyrinth, dive with limited breath, and dodge the evil guy’s minions. …

Off-Road Redneck Racing

Description

Off-Road Redneck Racing is a backwoods racing game, featuring a variety of off-road vehicles, ranging from buggies to pickup trucks. The tracks are set in off-road environments, such as a swamp or farm land. The main single player aspect consists of a championship mode, in which the player can gain upgrades and join teams as they progress. Other single player modes are the challenge races against computer opponents, or time trials to beat a set record. Various in-game options can be adjusted, such as the season and weather. Network play was also supported against other human players.

As shown on the box art and title, the game is technically a spin-off of the Redneck Rampage series of video games. The original Redneck Rampage games were a first-person shooter based on the Build engine, also for the PC. The game featured two rednecks (shown on the box art for Off-Road Redneck Racing) using a variety of weapons to battle aliens and brainwashed townsfolk in backwoods locations. The original 1997 game had strong sales, and also spawned another spinoff, titled Redneck Deer Huntin’; however, Off-Road Redneck Racing is the only game in the series not to use the aforementioned Build engine. …

Description

Marshall James Anderson had been a great gunfighter. He had worn the badge of the law and put men to death or to jail. But a Marshall can only travel alone so long. And so James Anderson retired; he got himself a wife, got himself some land, got himself a daughter and dedicated himself to the peaceful life of a home on the range.

The Gentleman, Bob Graham, has other plans for James Anderson’s plot of land however. It sits right along some prime real estate for where the railroad is going to go, and whoever could own that land might be able to get rich setting up a town. So Bob hires himself up some of the roughest and toughest ruffians west of the Mississippi to try and “persuade” Anderson and the other land-owners to sell or abandon their lands.

James Anderson returns home from town one day to find his homestead aflame, his wife killed and his daughter abducted by Bob’s henchmen. Not willing to trust in the fates, Anderson dusts off his six-shooter, digs up his buried shotgun and dons his old tin star. While their official goal was to solve humankind’s problems, it was about money. Massive spending bankrupted poorer countries, and soon all traces of individual government disappeared. For those who were poor, the situation didn’t improved one bit, and for the richer, maintaining the status was done at the expense of their privacy and personal freedoms. To make things worse, life outside the major cities, far from the atmosphere processors is nearly impossible, as the so-called “Wilderness Preserves” are poisoned, and those who venture into them risk a painful death.

Konoko, fresh out from TCTF (Technology Crimes Task Force, a secret police to take cyber drugs and weapons from the streets, as well as explore the induced technophobia to operate and investigate on a blank check permission) academy is placed under the command of Terrance Griffin and Dr. Kerr and linked to a SLD – an android – called Shinatama, who is neurally linked to her.
