Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Advanced Warfighter

Description

The year is 2013 and you play as Captain Mitchell, commander of a Ghost Recon team, on a mission in Mexico City where rebels are attempting a coup, putting Mexico and the USA in danger.

To deal with the different situations you have to face, taking out AA-guns or defending injured personnel until the rescue team arrives, you do not only have access to top-notch weapons like the different versions of the MR-C, but also to futuristic equipment like a drone that flies over the battlefield to spot enemy units.

The PC version was developed almost independently from the Xbox 360 version, so there are notable differences between the two. The most important changes can be found in the Cross-com design. It is split into 3 parts: the support list, the video feedback and the order system. The support list is always displayed on your HUD and allows you to see all units at your disposal at all time. Through the order system, you can give them commands on the fly. The video feedback section allows you to see through the eyes of one of your team members, but unlike the Xbox 360 version, you only see rough shapes of the environment. To see it in its full glory, you have to link yourself completely into the video feed, which then obstructs your own view. …

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Advanced Warfighter 2

Description

Not even a day has fully passed since you rescued the US president from Mexican soil and you and the rest of your Ghost team are on the way home, when the General phones in and gives you your next mission: a group of terrorists deposited two dirty bombs (normal blasting compositions combined with radioactive material) near the city of Juarez. Your goal as Captain Mitchell is to once again save the day with your three teammates.

Like in the predecessor Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, you control Captain Mitchell and see everything through his eyes while you command your teammates, either directly over the Cross-Com or with the help of the tactical map, through the various environments to fulfil your objectives, like blowing up a bunch of anti-air vehicles and then raiding a rebel outpost. …

Test Drive Unlimited lets the player choose one of several characters, both male and female, waiting at an airport to check in for their flight to the Caribbean dream island O’ahu located in Hawaii. The characters do not have different statistics, that only applies to the extravagant, licensed cars.

The whole island is accessible from the beginning and after the player has bought his first home and car, he can either drive around and look for events or load up the map and jump directly to a location of a race, a car salesman or other locations – similar to Need for Speed Underground. Every bought car has a built-in navigation system, guided by a woman’s voice to get the player to his destination, either pre-programmed in the game or decided by the player. …

Test Drive Unlimited 2

Description

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is the sequel to the open-world racing game Test Drive Unlimited. It is set on two islands: Ibiza and Oahu (the Hawaiian island that was also the setting of the first game). Oahu is only available after players have reached level 10, after which the airport is accessible. There are 60 levels in total (up to level 70 with the optional Casino DLC), which can be reached by collecting experience points in any of the following categories:
– Discovery (driving on all the roads and tracks, finding all hidden car wrecks, taking pictures of specific locations)
– Collection (buying cars and houses, decorating these with furniture and stickers, buying clothes, having plastic surgery)
– Competition (racing against others, both AI or real, completing challenges)
– Social (making friends, joining clubs).

You start out as a valet, dreaming of getting a luxurious car for your birthday until you get rudely awakened by the rich girl whose car you were supposed to bring around. She then decides to hire you to get her to a studio where she needs to be very soon, and if you perform well you can enter a racing competition named Solar Crown. Of course, to join the competition you’ll need to obtain a license first, which is done by attending a driving school and finishing a series of tasks and tests to prove you are worthy. As soon as you have obtained the license you are free to explore the first island. You can obtain more licenses to enter other competitions. Licenses and races come in several classes, for instance an A-license grants access to Asphalt challenges, B is for Off Road, and C for Classic. Each class is subdivided in subclasses e.g. 5 6 7 low high etc. You need to buy a car from that same category to join the challenges and championships. …
