Set in a world where realms of dark and light co-exist on top of each other, Queen Luscia of Haskillia is troubled by invasions of the Aklorians. Four heroes with unique abilities: the swordsman Tal, sorceress Ailish, the shape-shifting huntress Buki and the powerful Elco, combine their forces to aid the queen while they make their way through the struggle between dark and light.

You control the four characters as a team in a full 3D world with a third person view. Sudeki innovates through the use of realtime fighting scenes with combos, ranged attacks, evasion, the use of shields and Matrix-style effects including bullet-time. The characters are able to combine their forces to produce super-strike attacks. Cursed Mountain

Description

After his brother, known for taking extreme risks, disappears in the Himalayas, Eric Simmons reluctantly heads off to the village of Lhando, his last known location. He has arranged to meet with his brother’s employer – but the town is completely deserted. What’s more, everything has been abandoned, and bodies lie rotting in the streets. The locals were desperate to get away from someone… or something – but who or what? Only by exploring Lhando and the the mountain, Chomolonzo, will Eric find the answers he seeks, and hopefully, his brother.

Cursed Mountain is a survival horror game in the vein of Silent Hill. As Eric, players explore haunted locations for clues that will lead them to Frank’s disappearance. Early on, Eric is taught by a monk to use his “third eye”, which can see the unseen, such as sacred seals. This is performed by pointing the Wii Remote at the screen. As to be expected, ghosts appear to attack Eric and prevent him in his quest. The player can fend them off by performing gestures with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Eric can attack the ghosts with his pick axe, and then finish them off by using his third eye to spot their weak point, and attack it. As Eric explores, he will discover more upgrades for his axe that will allow him to break more seals and progress further. …

Description

Description

The seventh installment of the Final Fantasy series takes place in a post-modern, steampunk, sci-fi world where high technology reigns and where robots and bio-engineered mutants co-exist with humans and dragons.

The story focuses on Shinra Inc., an evil mega-corporation responsible for all the world’s high technology. Shinra supports this technology with Mako Energy, Shinra’s patented source of power. Unfortunately Mako is the lifeblood of the living planet and by using it up Shinra is slowly upsetting the balance of nature.

In comes AVALANCHE, a rebel group of disenfranchised citizens who have taken it upon themselves to oppose Shinra’s ambitions. The main character is an ex-Shinra soldier named Cloud Strife, an angst-ridden fellow with a complex history that is explained as the game goes on. Cloud joins up with AVALANCHE as a mercenary for hire, and together they take on Shinra’s maniacal executives and their army of shock-troops, robots, and mutants. Description

Squall Leonhart is a young man in training to become of member of SeeD – a mercenary organization and the goal of all young students in Balamb Garden. Squall is not a particularly friendly guy and has troubles with his fellow students and teachers. On the eve of his graduation hostilities break out between the city-states of Galbadia and Dollet. As their final test, Squall and three other students are sent on a mission to assist in the fight against Galbadia. In the process they discover that there are other characters pulling strings from behind the stage, and eventually uncover a mystery that involves two decades of secrets hidden both from the world and from themselves.

Final Fantasy VIII is set in a “retro” environment reminiscent in some ways of the 1960’s, with a few sci-fi and plenty of supernatural elements mixed in. The basic system resembles those of its predecessors: the player navigates a party of characters over a world map, accessing various locations and fighting randomly appearing enemies in turn-based combat of the series’ trademark ATB (active time battle) variety. Three years ago a brilliant scientist disappeared while researching a new form of energy. The government that funded his research wrote the whole affair off as a loss, which made it all the more upsetting when reports of Dr. Kirk’s good health and nearly finished research came in. A special forces team is sent to the doctor’s private island laboratory to extract him and his research, but they are totally unprepared for some of the side effects of his developments. Side effects that come from 100 million years in the past.

Dino Crisis is a survival horror game that is very similar in both control and gameplay to its sister series, Resident Evil. As in that series, protagonist Regina will have limited supplies and ammo with which to fight deadly enemies while searching rooms for keys (some figurative, some literal) to open locked areas. Unlike Resident Evil games, Regina will find very few actual supplies laying around, and will instead find “plugs” that are used to open caches of emergency supplies located around the complex. There are only enough plugs to open some of these caches, however, so care must be taken to decide what items are really needed. In another change from Resident Evil, the game is rendered in 3D, allowing the camera to rotate or pan, although camera angles are still out of the control of the player. Even the dumbest dinosaur is smarter than the undead, and enemies can chase and disarm Regina, and even occasionally follow her through doors. Regina can use the force fields in the complex to block her enemies. …
